Making stew looks hard, but it’s easy-peasy! It tastes extremely better with a bowl of rice.
Ingredients(serving size: 2)
1lb chicken
1 onion
1 potato
½carrot
1tbsp mirin
Salt and pepper
2tbsp vegetable oil
2cups water
Milk
Sauce: 4tbsp soy sauce, 3tbsp red pepper flakes, 2tbsp corn syrups, 2tbsp mirin, 1tbsp minced garlic
1. Clear chicken, season with salt and pepper, soak in milk for 20 minutes. Meanwhile cut onion, potato, carrot into bite sizes.
2. Mix all the sauce ingredients above.
3. Over a medium-high heat, stir-fry chicken with vegetable oil until golden brown. Continue stir-frying with sauce and pour water. Then simmer over medium heat for 20 minutes.
4. When the water evaporates to half, simmer with onion, potato, carrot until they are cooked.
5. Serve warm. Dig in!
