Spicy Small Octopus with Noodles / 낙지 소면

Spicy stir-fried octopus is an all-time favorite and thanks to H Mart, you can easily prep and cook it at home! Enjoy it as it is or pair it with a nice bowl of rice, soy bean sprouts, rice cakes, or with chewy somyeon noodles!

Ingredients
1½ lb Tongtongbay Frozen Small Octopus
1 cup Coarse Sea Salt, for cleaning
4 cups Water
½ tbsp Sea Salt
1⁄3 cup Cooking Oil
31⁄8 oz Scallions, for frying
1 7⁄8 oz Carrot
1 Green Chili Pepper
1 Red Chili Pepper
5½ oz Onion, sliced
1 tbsp Sesame Oil
1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
Plain Somyeon Noodles

Marinade
2 tbsp Red Pepper Flakes
1½ tbsp Garlic, minced
3½ tbsp Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Mirin
1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
¼ tsp Black Pepper Powder

Garnish
1 Scallion, chopped
1 tsp Sesame Seeds
Red Peppers, sliced
Chili Threads
